What is Beauty & The Benefit? BATB is a curated wellness destination for people who want fewer, better products without the confusion, clutter, or hype. We filter the wellness market so you don't have to — selecting only products that earn their place based on quality, formulation, and real-world usefulness.
How do you decide which products to stock? Every product in our edit is chosen deliberately. We look at ingredient quality, brand transparency, formulation standards, and whether there's genuine evidence behind the product's claims. We don't stock something because it's trending. We stock it because it works.
Are your products natural and clean? Yes — we only work with brands committed to clean, transparent formulations. That means no unnecessary synthetics, no misleading marketing, and no ingredients we wouldn't use ourselves. Every brand in our edit shares our commitment to better standards.
Orders & Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive? Standard UK delivery typically takes 3–5 working days. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Do you offer free delivery? Yes — we offer free UK delivery on all orders over £60.
Do you ship internationally? Currently we ship within the UK only. We're working on expanding to international shipping — sign up to our email list to be the first to know when this changes.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? We process orders quickly, so changes aren't always possible once an order is placed. Contact us as soon as possible at hello@beautyandthebenefit.com and we'll do our best to help.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy? We accept returns within 28 days of purchase for unused, unopened products in their original condition. Due to the nature of wellness and beauty products, we're unable to accept returns on opened or used items unless they are faulty.
What if my order arrives damaged or faulty? We're sorry to hear that. Please contact us at hello@beautyandthebenefit.com within 7 days of receiving your order with a photo of the issue and we'll arrange a replacement or full refund.
How long do refunds take? Once we've received and inspected the returned item, refunds are processed within 5–7 working days back to your original payment method.
Products & Wellness
How do I know which products are right for me? That's exactly what the Start Simple Edit is for. If you're new to wellness supplements or clean beauty, start there — it's a small, carefully chosen selection of accessible products that work well as a foundation. If you have a specific concern, our blog articles break down the evidence behind individual ingredients and categories so you can make an informed decision.
Do you sell own-brand products? Not currently. We are a curated retailer — every product we stock is from a brand we've vetted and trust. This allows us to focus on what we do best: filtering the market and bringing you only what's worth your money.
Are your supplements safe to take together? Most of the supplements we stock are suitable for everyday use and can be taken alongside each other. However we always recommend checking with your GP or a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or managing a health condition. We are not medical professionals and nothing on this site constitutes medical advice.
Do your products have an expiry date? Yes — the majority of our products have an expiry or best before date printed on the packaging. Our Imperfectly Perfect collection features products that are approaching their best before date, offered at a reduced price. These products are completely safe to use but have a shorter shelf life than our standard range.
Account & Subscriptions
Do I need an account to order? No — you can check out as a guest. However creating an account makes it easier to track your orders, save your details for future purchases, and access your order history.
How do I reset my password? Go to the login page and click "Forgot password." You'll receive an email with a reset link within a few minutes.
How do I unsubscribe from emails? Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you'll be removed from our list immediately. No hard feelings — we'd rather you only hear from us when it's useful.
Sustainability & Ethics
Are your products cruelty free? Yes — we only work with cruelty-free brands. None of the products we stock are tested on animals.
Are your products vegan? The majority of our range is vegan. Some products contain ingredients such as beeswax or marine collagen that are not vegan. We clearly list all ingredients on each product page so you can make an informed choice.
What is the Imperfectly Perfect collection? It's our sustainability initiative — a collection of products with minor cosmetic imperfections (small dents, damaged packaging) or approaching their best before date, sold at a reduced price. The products themselves are completely fine to use. It's our way of keeping good products out of landfill and passing the saving on to you.
